About Us

The Moville & District Family Resource Centre was established in 2004. its core funding comes from TUSLA child and family agency. We have also received other funding from HSE, Donegal County Council, ETB, Inishowen Development Partnership, EU Erasmus Fund, among others.

Moville & District Family Resource Centre is a community-led service empowering and developing community capacity to respond to identified social needs, operating in a holistic and person-centred context to help enhance people’s lives & promote social inclusion. The centre aims to empower and promote the emotional, physical and social health by encouraging people to maintain a positive & healthy lifestyle.

We provide information, advice and support to target groups and families. Including information on the range of services and development options available locally and advice on accessing rights and entitlements.

For all those living in homes built with defective blocks, the on-going stress and uncertainty can take its toll. Local charities and community centres across Inishowen are standing with you to help with a range of practical and emotional supports.

When houses become unsafe, the added risk of a sudden emergency can cause extreme anxiety. And most people find it difficult to know where to begin preparing for any repair works that are needed.

This plan includes some simple first steps to help provide peace of mind. The safety and wellbeing of you and your loved ones is what matters most of all. But sageguarding your important documents and any irreplaceable, treasured possessions will also give peace of mind.

Your local community centre can help with photocopying and scanning items if you need extra support. We also share a range of help numbers and links to resources that you may find useful.
